It’s always an honor (and slightly terrifying) when an industry pro chooses you as their planner. They know all the planners, they know the ins and outs of how everything should work and what works well and doesn’t work. They have established vendor relationships and out of everyone they chose YOU.

That’s absolutely how it was with Caitlyn choosing Truly Together Event Co. when her and Sam got married. You see, Caitlyn owns the well respected hair and makeup company Lux Beauty and Bridal. * no pressure *

Their wedding was SO much fun to bring to life. They chose to have a white monochromatic event and they had BOMB vendors (to be expected). It was a blast to coordinate with and bring an amazing crew together to bring everything together!

Caitlyn & Sam chose wedding day management for their wedding and we assisted throughout the process to make sure they had great resources and recommendations for the areas that they weren’t sure about. When we were ready to bring it all together (12 weeks before the wedding day), we did our agenda planning session and arranged to attend their tasting & final planning meeting at the hotel and go through all of the remaining details to make sure we’d thought about everything and fully understood their vision and logistics.

Our team went above and beyond and actually laid down on some of the draping behind the ceremony to make sure that they stayed in place through their ceremony when the winds kicked up during their ceremony (oh, did I mention they got married by a Diva Drag Queen?). It was an absolute blast and we were thrilled we could be there for them.

One of the cutest parts of the entire wedding was that a few weeks before the wedding, each bride contacted us separately about a Michael Jackson themed surprise for the other. It was SO fun to bring those to life and let them be so surprised at their partner’s MJ dedication since that’s a big part of their relationship. We love when couples infuse themselves into the wedding for their guests to experience!
