The Waters Point, Wimberley

Jessica & Travis set out to bring Florida and Texas together in their gorgeous summer wedding. As a nod to Travis’s Florida heritage, they very much wanted a water feature as part of their venue, and my goodness, did we find a great one! The Waters Point has a gorgeous rock area for photos and ceremonies (although it ultimately was used for their wedding as a photo spot).

Their pup, Tucker was there for their engagement session on the rocks and of course on wedding day to wish their humans a happy union. He was such a good boy too!

Everything was stunning, but my FAVORITE part of this wedding was hands down – the cake. Jessica’s grandmother (in her 90’s) is a master sugar flower artist and Jessica herself used to work at the local bakery (Cakes ROCK!!!). So for the wedding, we of course went with Christy at Cakes ROCK!!! Jessica’s grandmother started designing all of the custom sugar flowers 6 months before the big day, so they would match perfectly with all of the wedding floral décor. She carefully placed each and every one and it was absolutely mind blowing to remember that these gorgeous flowers (and turtle) were made of sugar!
